Summer Camps

WHAT TO BRING 

• Pack a non-refrigerated lunch and a labeled water bottle.
• Dress for mess and outdoor play (wear sneakers and sunblock). We provide aprons and all materials! 
• Younger campers must be able to independently use the bathroom.

ABSENCES, LATE DROP-OFFS & EARLY PICK-UPS

• Please communicate any absences, late drop-offs and early pickups.
• We cannot accept late drop-offs past 12:30pm.
• Early pick-ups must be at the studio before 12:30 or after 2:00pm.

CHECK YOUR REGISTRATIONS

• Immediately after registration, you’ll receive an emailed receipt.
  • Please double check your camp weeks/location and any waitlisted registrations.
  • Log into your Art Center account at any time to easily access registrations as well.

• One month ahead of each camp week’s start date, you’ll receive confirmation emails that detail important camp information.  

MEDICAL, SOCIAL/EMOTIONAL, OR EDUCATIONAL NEEDS

We are a team of dedicated educators who strive to create a safe and rich learning environment for all creatives!

If your child attends our programs and benefits from specialized supports, has a 1:1 aid, or has other therapists, we follow a two-step process.

1. Outline the details under your child’s profile on your Art Center account by clicking “Edit” within the Captyn Profile section.
2. Email us at least 2 weeks prior to program start date so that we can schedule a phone call to partner with you in support of your child’s experience.

RECEIPTS + TAX ID # 

Our Tax ID# is 20-5802628 and it can also be found at the bottom of invoice receipts in your Art Center Portal.

KIDS SUMMER CAMP | AGES 4-12

Grouped by age, artists delve deep into exciting weekly themes while exploring a range of 2-D & 3-D media through age-appropriate curriculum. Studios buzz with creative excitement, inspired by our outstanding team of teachers! Campers must be 4 to attend. 

General Camp Schedule:

• 8:15-9:00am – **Early Care: Creative Stations
• 8:50-9:10am – Drop-Off
• 9:00-9:20am – Sketchbook Time + Expectations
• 9:20-10:30am – Studio Art-Making Block
• 10:30-11:00am – Snack + Story
• 11:00am-12:00pm – Studio Art-Making Block
• 12:00-12:30pm – Lunch
• 12:30-2:00pm – Outdoor Play
• 2:00-3:00pm – Studio Art-Making Block
• 2:50-3:10pm – Dismissal
• 3:00-5:30pm – **Late Care: Outdoor Play + Creative Stations

TWEEN SUMMER CAMP | AGES 9-13

These totally tween-centered summer camps offer specialty themed studio experiences for older kids who want to dive deep into particular media! Led by experienced art educators, artists develop new skills to create with confidence. Camps run select weeks only and fill fast!

General Tween Camp Schedule:

• 8:50-9:10am – Drop-Off
• 9:00-9:15am – Sketchbook Time + Expectations
• 9:15am-12:00pm – Morning Studio Block w/Snack Break
• 12:00-1:00pm – Lunch + Outdoor Time
• 1:00-2:50pm – Afternoon Studio Block
• 2:50-3:10pm – Dismissal

EXTRA CARE

• Campers must be registered for Camp to sign up for Extra Care.
• Sign-up is by-the-week and booked in advance online.
• Registration closes the week prior to camp. Week-of sign ups are not possible. 

Extra Care Schedule:

• Early Care drop off starts at 8:15am.
• Late Care runs 3:00-5:30pm.
  • Late Care campers will regularly go outside to play from 3:00-4:00pm, in addition to afternoon arty-fun!
  • Pickup is between 4:00-5:30pm.

EARLY BIRD DISCOUNT

15% Off Early Bird Offer ended February 28.

Early Bird registrations are non-refundable.

CANCELLATION POLICIES 

Camps purchased with the Early Bird Discount are nonrefundable.

• January 8 to March 31:
  • Week switches or cancellations with account credits can be made less a $30 processing fee, space permitting.
  • Refund requests for Non-Early-Bird registrations can be accommodated less a $60 processing fee.

• April 1 to May 31: 
  • Week switches or cancellations with account credits can be made less a $50 processing fee, space permitting.
  • No refunds.

• After May 31: No changes can be made.

TO REQUEST A CHANGE: Please submit all requests via your Art Center Portal HERE. Go to “Registrations” and select “Move” or “Cancel.” Please include any extenuating circumstances.
