Kids Summer Camps 2024
Ages 4 – 12

Full Day: 9:00am – 3:00pm
Extra Care: 8:15am – 5:30pm

Grouped by age, artists delve deep into exciting weekly themes while exploring a range of 2-D & 3-D media through age-appropriate curriculum. Studios buzz with creative excitement, inspired by our outstanding team of teachers, with two work sessions in the morning and snack + story time in the middle. We lunch at noon, then head out to the play, followed by another studio session in the afternoon to round out the day. Every week includes a special event to enhance theme-based learning.

Tween Summer Camps

These totally tween-centered summer camps offer specialty themed studio experiences for kids who want to dive deep in a particular medium! Led by experienced art educators, tween camp themes include: comics, drawing + painting, ceramics and sewing. Camps run select weeks only and fill fast!

    Discounts apply to families and all children in your household. The total number of weeks in your cart, determine the above discount. Discounts apply when weeks are purchased at the same time, online and may not be retroactively applied. 

  • Cancellation Policy

    Early Bird Registration: Registrations made with the Early Bird offer are nonrefundable.

    Through April 1st: All camp weeks can be switched (space permitting), credits applied to Art Center accounts, or refunds processed. A $40 processing fee applies to week switches and Art Center account credits. A $65 processing fee applies for refunds. (Refunds are not possible with registrations made on the Early Bird offer.)

    April 1 to May 31: Registration changes can be made, space permitting, with a $50 processing fee. No refunds.

    After May 31: No changes can be made.

  • Camp Hours

    Camps run from 9:00am-3:00pm, you may drop off starting at 8:50am and pick-up between 2:55 and by 3:10pm.

    Summer Camp Early Care is available from 8:15-9:00am at city locations only. Early Care is not available in Cherry Hill. Late Care is available from 3:00-5:30pm at all locations, including Cherry Hill. Late Care dismissal time is between 5:00-5:30pm.

  • Extra Care

    Extra Care is booked by-the-week online and runs from 8:15-9:00am and 3:00-5:30pm. Advance registration is required and we cannot accept week-of signups. Late Care dismissal runs from 5:00-5:30pm. Late Care campers will regularly go out to play, in addition to afternoon arty-fun! Reserve your spot early as registration closes one week ahead of each camp week and can fill up. Please note that the Cherry Hill location does not have an early care option.

  • Required Forms

    Enrollment forms are required for new campers only, and must be completed and emailed ahead of your program start. Returning families should log into their Art Center account and update all contact information, medical information and authorized pick-up adults to ensure accuracy.

  • Email Confirmations

    After registration, you’ll automatically receive an email receipt. Please check that you’ve received it and double check your registrations. Any waitlisted camps are listed as $0 on receipts.

    Closer to your camp week/s, you’ll receive confirmation emails for EACH registered week, detailing important camp information. Please read carefully and confirm you’ve registered for your intended week/s and location.

    If you are not receiving these communications please check your junk mail/spam filters and that your email address is correct in your Art Center account.

  • Tax ID #

    Receipts for any and all programs can be pulled from your online customer account. Please look there first before emailing for assistance. Our Tax ID# is 20-5802628.

  • COVID-19

    Vaccination is strongly recommended. Cases must be reported promptly via email. Vaccinated protocol includes 5 days isolation and 5 days masked-to-stay. Our staff are vaccinated and boostered. We continue to notify classes of known exposures and report cases to the Health Department. Students who exhibit any one symptom will be asked to mask, or not attend with two or more symptoms.

Philly Art Center is a single purpose business that provides art instruction for children and adults through a range of programs including classes, camps and after school. Philly Art Center is not a child day care center. Enrolled participants should demonstrate interest in creative learning.
