We seek artists with teaching experience in early and elementary art education as well as instructors, with more college-level experience for our teen and adult courses.   • Kids Art Teacher

    REQUIREMENTS

    • Degree in art, art education, art therapy, education or related fields is preferred, but not required
    • 1-2 years teaching experience preferred
    • Must enjoy teaching and working with children ages 2-12
    • Must be flexible with schedule and work Saturdays as needed
    • Friendly and enthusiastic demeanor
    • Strong communication and organizational skills
    • Must be a team player, flexible & self-motivated
    • Experience with Trello and Google Suite is a plus
    • Candidates must provide Criminal History and Child Abuse Clearances
    • CPR and First Aid Certified, or willing to get trained
    • Ability to lift 25 pounds and be on your feet, in a face-paced environment
    • Curriculum writing a plus

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Support Program Director and teaching team
    • Follow curriculum and prep materials for projects
    • Studio and classroom management
    • Assist with school pick-ups for the after school program
    • Track class attendance and seating

    This is an employment position for 12-40 hours per week. All employees accrue sick time and employees with 30+ hours accrue paid time off and can opt into health benefits. Pay is competitive.

  • Summer Art Camp Teachers

    Full Time + Part Time Positions
    Summer Camp Teaching Artist

    REQUIREMENTS

    • Degree in art, art education, art therapy, education or related fields is preferred, but not required
    • 1-2 years teaching experience preferred
    • Must be flexible with schedule, camp program runs Monday-Friday
    • Must enjoy teaching and working with children ages 4-14
    • Strong communication and organizational skills
    • Friendly and enthusiastic demeanor
    • Must be a team player, flexible & self-motivated
    • Candidates must provide Criminal History and Child Abuse Clearances
    • CPR and First Aid Certified, or willing to get trained
    • Ability to lift 25 pounds and be on your feet, in a fast-paced environment
    • Experience with Trello is a plus
    • Must be available June through September 1st (with the ability to schedule 1 week off when discussed before hiring)

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Support Program Director and teaching team

    • Kid safety in the studio and at the playground
    • Classroom management with a 1:12 or less teacher ratio
    • Studio organization, maintenance and upkeep

    This is a seasonal employment position for 20-40 hours per week. There is potential to move to regular employment after the summer. Pay is competitive and based on experience, starting at $16.75/hr. Regular, full time employment includes sick leave, paid vacation time and health benefits.

  • Sewing Camp Teacher

    Full Time + Part Time Positions

    REQUIREMENTS

    • Degree in art, art education, fashion design, fibers or related fields is preferred
    • 1-2 years experience is preferred
    • Knowledgeable in machine sewing, hand sewing, and garment making
    • Must be flexible with schedule, camp program runs Monday-Friday
    • Must enjoy teaching and working with kids ages 9-14
    • Strong communication and organizational skills
    • Friendly and enthusiastic demeanor
    • Must be a team player, flexible & self-motivated
    • Candidates must provide Criminal History and Child Abuse Clearances
    • CPR and First Aid Certified, or willing to get trained
    • Ability to lift 25 pounds and be on your feet, in a fast-paced environment
    • Experience with Trello is a plus

  • Adult Instructors

    Adult course teachers should have extensive studio experience in specific media related to the course they teach. A BFA is required. We seek folks who want to work on a regular basis, one or more evenings per week as we set up our course structure to support regular programming. Media include Drawing, Painting, Ceramics, Printmaking and Fiber Arts. 

  • Administrative Associate 

    Part Time or Full Time | Mid-Management Level

    REQUIREMENTS

    • Degree in communications, business, arts administration, marketing, or hospitality is preferred
    • 1-3 years experience in related fields is preferred
    • Must have strong communication skills, organizational skills and attention to detail
    • Must be a great team player but also have the ability to work independently to accomplish tasks in a timely manner
    • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and work gracefully under pressure
    • Proficiency in Google Suite (Sheets, Docs, Forms)
    • Experience with social media, email marketing, and website management is preferred
    • Experience with Trello and Slack is a plus
    • Outgoing, friendly, enthusiastic, and professional
    • Enjoy being around children and have an appreciation for the arts
    • Flexible with schedule and to work Saturdays and occasional weekend events as needed 
    • Candidates must provide Criminal History and Child Abuse Clearances 
    • CPR and First Aid Certified, or willing to get trained

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Support the administration team and teachers
    • Manage student forms and bookkeeping paperwork
    • Field phone calls and emails
    • High level of customer service
    • Data entry management
    • Registrar management
    • Roster maintenance for all programs
    • Greet, check in, and interact positively with students and families
    • Communicate program information and updates to the team
    • Process registrations/payments for customers as needed
    • Assist with school pick-ups for the after school program
    • Assist with social media, marketing, and events as needed
