Philly Art Center’s newest location opened in 2022 in Northwest Philly!
Our beautiful new building is at 530 Carpenter Lane, near Greene Street. It boasts thoughtful design specially created for our makers including colorful studios, large stainless sinks, skylights and a large back yard including a kiln shed!
Located in the heart of the Mount Airy Village, we are proud neighbors to Weaver’s Way Co-op, The Nesting House, Wild Hand and the High Point Café. We are thrilled to contribute to the fabric of this special Philly neighborhood through the arts.
Getting here is easy, just head up Lincoln Drive from Center City, turn left onto McCallum Street, cross Westview Street then turn left onto Carpenter Lane.
There is on-street parking throughout the neighborhood, without timed parking or meters. Enjoy your tree-lined stroll to the studio!
The Broad & Erie bus line comes to our corner and connects to the Mt Pleasant + Sprague stop of the Chestnut Hill East Line.
